Harris Heating, Plumbing, Air & Electrical is looking for a dependable, motivated, and customer-focused HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our growing team! If you enjoy working with your hands, helping customers, and keeping heating and cooling systems operating at peak performance, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on residential heating and air conditioning systems.

  • Inspect, clean, and service HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

  • Identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs or improvements.

  • Check system components, electrical connections, filters, thermostats, and refrigerant levels as appropriate.

  • Educate customers on proper system maintenance and energy efficiency.

  • Identify opportunities to recommend additional services when appropriate.

  • Maintain accurate service records and complete all required paperwork.

  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate professionally with homeowners.

  • Follow all company safety procedures, industry standards, and applicable regulations.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work vehicle.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

  • Previous HVAC maintenance or related mechanical experience preferred (or trade school).

  • Basic knowledge of residential heating and cooling systems.

  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.

  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Ability to lift equipment, work in various environments, and perform the physical requirements of the position.

  • EPA Section 608 certification required

  • Professional attitude, dependable work ethic, and willingness to learn.
