Salary - 75K to 80K
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Human Resource Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with Front Line Managers and Technicians. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, training, company orientation, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, affirmative action and employment law compliance. Assist with the planning and coordination of all other Human Resources activities.

Job Duties:
• Serve as link between management and employees by handling questions and helping to resolve work-related problems.
• Address employee relations issues, such as harassment allegations, work complaints, or other employee concerns.
•Prepare or maintain employment records related to events such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions, using human resources management system software.
• Interpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations.
• Process new hire and onboarding paperwork, as needed.
• Maintain current knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action guidelines and laws, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
• Maintain and update human resources documents, such as organizational charts, employee handbooks or directories, performance evaluation forms and employee files.
• Maintain an accurate and up to date Staffing Report ensuring all New Hires, Terminations and Transfers are noted.
• Other duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• Friendly - Ability to exhibit a cheerful demeanor toward others.

 • Employee Relations - Excellent employee relations and interpersonal communication skills; ability to interact effectively with all levels of management, supervision and employees
• Experience in Paylocity and Service Titan a plus

Qualifications:
Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED):
Preferred- Bachelor's Degree (four-year college or technical school) Field of Study: Human Resources or related field 
2 plus years of experience in Human Resources or related field
Computer Skills: Microsoft Office, HRIS Systems
Certifications & Licenses: SHRM Certification Preferred
